6 DAYS MASAI MARA & AMBOSELI SAFARI

Your safari begins today with your arrival in Nairobi.  where you will be welcomed to Kenya by our representative. Drive down via Mombasa road and arrive at the national park just in time for your lunch. You will then go on your very first evening game drive with your guide. Return later to the lodge for dinner.

Wake up and have a hearty breakfast at your lodge before heading out for the day. You will carry packed lunch for the full-day game drives. Spend the day exploring Amboseli national park as you look out for a variety of wildlife like cape buffaloes, impalas, lions, spotted hyenas, Masai giraffe, grants zebras, wildebeest, African bush elephants, and if lucky cheetahs. Amboseli national park has great opportunities to see wildlife as the vegetation in the park is scattered because of the long dry months. The park is well known as a home to African elephants so expect to view large herds of elephants during your game drive.  You will end your day with a transfer to the lodge or camp for dinner.

After breakfast, we head to Masai Mara national reserve. The journey will take you through the vast landscape and nature of Kenya as you drive down the escarpment via Narok to Masai Mara. On arrival at your lodge, you will be warmly welcomed with a fresh glass of juice and have lunch. After a delicious lunch head for an introductory evening game drive to Masai Mara before your dinner.

Breakfast in the morning will prepare you for a full day of game viewing in the famous Masai Mara National reserve across the savannah grassland and rolling hills. You will carry packed lunch from the lodge and then head out into the reserve for a whole day of spectacular game viewing. Look out for wildlife – big herds of lions, leopards, elephants, the elusive cheetah, Thomson’s gazelle, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, topis, spotted hyenas, zebras, baboons, and the graceful giraffes. You return to the lodge or camp later in the evening for dinner.

Today marks the end of your amazing Kenya Safari as you will have breakfast in the morning and then drive back to Nairobi. You arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch and then transfer to the airport for your flight out of Nairobi.
