BIRDING

East Africa`s diverse vegetation makes for a hugely diverse bird population. The geographical range is vast, from semi-desert, open Savannah, Rain forests to mountainous vegetation, and coastline. With a range of country-specific endemics, as well as migrant birds which visit to breed, East Africa is estimated to be host to over 2300 bird species! An estimated 67% are endemic.
