OVERVIEW
Uganda is an ideal fishing destination since one-third of the country is covered by water; there is a great opportunity for sport fishing. Sportfishing is carried out on Lake Victoria and Murchison Falls National Park. Sport Fishing at Murchison Falls National Park is presently done at the foot of the falls. The fishing is either from the rocks on the bank of the river or faintly lower downstream in the pools from a boat.

Day by Day
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel of choice. Depending on your arrival time, birding Entebbe may be possible. The Uganda Wildlife Education center (UWEC) formerly known as the Zoo and The Botanical gardens offer great optional birding opportunities. Return for Dinner and Overnight.

Our representative will pick you up from the hotel and proceed to Murchison Falls National Park.
Alternatively, fly on a scheduled (daily) flight to Chobe or Bugungu Airstrip. (1hr) upon arrival, you’ll be met by our representative and driven to the Lodge.
In the late afternoon, we will descend to the base of Murchison falls themselves and fish the evening for three hours. A relative level of strength will be required as the descent is relatively sheer. In the dramatic pools below the renowned waterfall, we will be aiming at the large Nile Perch which can have been trapped in these waters over 100 Kilos. We will then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Note: We can include Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on the itinerary today for a guided walk to view the rhinos walk followed by a lunch. Continue up to the Park, check in to your accommodation of choice.

Today you will fish the river Nile by boat underneath the world’s well-known Murchison falls for the Nile perch and other species several of which can be taken on a fly including the Awaka a small tiger and the Ungara. You will use the whole day fishing from the boat and the coast. The boat trip is also superb for game viewing as you will be fishing in one of the best game areas on the Nile which can show very thrilling at times.

Today we will fish the big pools below the falls with bait, live bait and flies for the large perch. Once more there are other species that can offer the brilliant sport. We will take a picnic and plenty of cold drinks and spend the day in these wonderful pools.

After breakfast, drive to the top of the falls and later continue to Entebbe and overnight.

After a cup of coffee, you will take a boat and go for fishing on Lake Victoria.
