GORILLA TREKKING

Mountain Gorillas are only found in the Virunga mountains – shared between Uganda, Rwanda and Congo and comprised of Mgahinga National Park, Volcanoes National Park, and Virunga National Park as well as Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which is famously known to possess more than half of the entire world’s Mountain gorilla population. The western lowland gorilla is the most numerous and widespread of all gorilla subspecies. Populations can be found in Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Equatorial Guinea as well as in large areas in Gabon and the Republic of Congo.
